My Paris Film Photography
I went to Paris in February 2025. February is supposedly their off-season so I hoped to avoid crowds and see these very famous landmarks! Paris was gorgeous and I would have loved to spend more time walking around outside if it wasn’t too cold to see the less touristy spots. All the hotspots were still so crowded in winter so I can’t imagine what summer must be like! Since it was winter, it was cold and gray and gloomy the entire time I was there- roughly 40 degrees fahrenheit outside. Gray skies don’t mix well with film photography, and I was less likely to pull my gloves off and get my camera out so I didn’t take a ton of pictures, just two rolls.

Notre Dame was freshly restored and free to enter. It was very crowded inside you had to move with the current but it was so clean and bright in there!

Artist Quarter. Many portraiture artists set up there to paint people from life. The water color artist on the left was my favorite. He charged 80 euros for 30 minutes. I didn’t sit for one but we watched another woman get her portrait painted by him.

Sacre Coeur is on top of a steep hill so you get an amazing view of the city. It was so crowded at this view point.
